Launch: new website for Kaliko
The Digital 64 team worked closely with Kaliko to understand their needs and expectations. The result is a website with a modernized, elegant and intuitive design. We focused on simplicity and user-friendliness, enabling visitors to navigate easily through the different sections of the site, whether booking a room, discovering the restaurant menu or finding out about local events and activities.
Kaliko is located on the banks of the Uhabia River in Bidart, a seaside village between Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz in the Basque Country. The hotel is 200m from the beach, accessible on foot or by bike via the greenway in front of the establishment, and has its own private parking lot. With its 12 rooms, the hotel offers a true universe of hotels, restaurants and activities.
The KALIKO name, logo andbrand universe were designed from scratch with the help of our graphic designer.
Kaliko's new website design isn't just aesthetically pleasing; it's also designed to be functional. High-resolution images, detailed descriptions and a clean layout help to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, perfectly reflecting the warm spirit and elegance of the Kaliko hotel/restaurant.
To build this website, we first created a customized mockup on Figma, then integrated the website on WordPress, with the help of our developer.
SEO optimizations to increase Kaliko's visibility
In addition to redesigning the site, our team also focused on optimizing Kaliko's search engine optimization (SEO). We know how crucial it is for an establishment to stand out in a sector as competitive as the hotel and restaurant business.
